Hello Friend, Today I would be showing you the powers of positive affirmations and also sharing a list of my favorite positive affirmations and why i use them.
I hope you find some you like or invent one for yourself – yes you can totally create your own positive affirmation. How cool would that be?
Well. Once I have shown you the possibilities that can be generated through positive affirmations I am sure you would always have one or two that you would continually be mumbling in your spare time.
But does this post say anything about money?…. yes, it does like all previous posts and future posts, everything is linked to help you be a more balanced person.

THE SCIENCE OF AFFIRMATIONS
Like I said, this is a principle that is backed by science as scientists have been conducting studies on whether positive affirmations affect the brain and if those effects are positive, negative or inconsequential.
What they discovered is that affirmations are effective. In fact, not only are they effective in promoting/destroying healthy behaviors in high-risk populations, but also improving academic performance in minority groups.
If used consistently, studies found that “positive” affirmations can help individuals maintain a positive self-view and that threats to perceived self-competence are met with resistance. When threatened, self affirmations can restore self-competence by allowing individuals to reflect on sources of self-worth such as core values (Cascio, et. al 2015)
On the Flip side, The study did find that approaching affirmation from the classic approach of affirming positive mantras about yourself like, “I am lovable” can actually backfire. For people who don’t actually believe them, these personal mantras can lead them to feel worse because doing so reminds them why they feel they aren’t lovable.
So you see, this is a powerful tool and one that you could be using either consciously or unconsciously. Let me give you an instance where I was unconsciously using an affirmation that was affecting my entire life NEGATIVELY before I knew of the powers of affirmation.
Back in 2017, I cannot recall when it started but I was going through a lot trying to decide what to do next with my life, it is safe to say I was at a low point in my life, I had a job I loved doing but it was becoming more routine than ever and the stress was getting to me.
Whenever anyone asked me how I was doing? my reply was always ” I am tired ” I said this no matter the situation even at times when it wasn’t that bad with whatever I was going through.
It became my go-to word. I began to say it unconsciously to any and every situation and what was the outcome?
your guessed right, I started to feel really tired every time, the more I used the words “I am tired” the more energy I lost, I would get home after a long day and go ” wow, I am tired” and just like that the rest of the evening was spent in a blur of eating, procrastinate on important tasks and before you knew it I was sleep. And the very next day I repeated the same process. It led to me losing interest in even then tasks I used to enjoy doing.
when I had tasks to accomplish I just did not have the energy and even when I forced myself to do so I lacked the necessary concentration or belief in my abilities. This one seed of doubt led to anxiety attacks as I began to lose interest even in food and only wanted to waste the time on unproductive tasks or asleep.
These bad habit not only weakened me further but my immune system suffered as a result, I fell sick every other weekend due to “exhaustion”. At this point I had had enough, I knew something had to change.
One Morning I told myself. The very first thing I had to do was stop saying the words “I am tired”, and I consciously started watching myself in case I slipped, slowly but surely I stopped using the words, ( I have used it in these articles more times than I have in the past 4 months and my routine has not changed, work got even busier, I still have time to read books and time for personal development, time I never seemed to have because ” I am tired” )
I wasn’t falling sick every other weekend due to “exhaustion” however, since I did not know the principles of self affirmation I didn’t know I had to replace that affirmation with something positive, it is not wise especially with unlearning new habits to not replace any negative one with a positive one. I wasn’t feeling as tired as I used to be as I had energy just from stopping the “bad habit” of using just “one” affirmations wrongly.
If this doesn’t show you how much power affirmations can have, look around you, take note of what the successful people in your circle do, differentiate those that seem to have all the energy from those who do not and begin to take note of what each one “says”, the words they both use would never be the same even to describe the same situation, given a new extra task both are capable of doing that might discomfort their routine, The high energy person might say, “I can do this” and the low energy person would respond with “I can try” let this be your personal social experiment. From their response you can know who is more likely to accomplish the task.
MY FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH “POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS”
I would not come across anything affirmation related till I stumbled upon Marc Lalonde, the owner of Branding Youniversity. I caught one of his free Sunday webinar titled your story is your money where he talked about affirmations and how it changed his life and enabled him go from being drug abuser and living/surviving from soup kitchen, but through the powers of positive affirmations was not only able to bounce back to a healthy personal life but in his late 30s became a seven figure income earner. so it is never too late.
Just by adopting one affirmation, now he says he has a lot and I actually learned my first affirmation and from that free Sunday webinar. I had it wired in me. I had found “gold”
I would like to tell you that this is “not easy” to Master but it is “simple”. Just like making money online. It is simple but not easy,
Simple because you my friend can use it to improve any aspect of your life, Not Easy because it takes conscious effort and consistency first.
I like to refer to affirmations as the “mumble industry” because when you have mastered the art and it starts baring fruits you would catch yourself mumbling words to yourself.
It’s Okay, let others think you crazy… “insanity is genius”.
When you finally find out the power in positive affirmations you would begin to see a lot of affirmations in the books you read, things you hear/heard, you begin to feed the mind with fruits that would grow.

MY TOP 5 POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS FOR 2019
Positive affirmations are known to release one from anxiety, negativity, guilt, fear and pain.
Affirmations are simple messages repeated over-and-over-and-over-again till it becomes part of your subconscious from where they begin to worm their way into your mind. Slowly changing both you’re thinking and your reality.
These positive affirmations might begin as wishful thinking. But Used correctly, they end up becoming the reality of your life.
Here is a list of my top positive affirmations and I apply them

it is okay if at first it is difficult and you miss a day, do not dwell on it, just move on, you do not drop out of school for missing a day now would you? this is education as well.
Finally, friend, if you have come this far, I would advise you take a piece of paper and write just one affirmation you want to start with and one you now consciously want to stop.
